i really need some HELP ! :(
its the 1st time i've download a game and really need to figure out how to play..i am turning crazy!

ok here is the thing:

i unzip the first file which appear on the downloaded torrent, then using daemon tools i install it.
then i proced to copy the crack which appear on the file and copy it to the TSbin.
using daemon tools again i mount the image, and on myPC it for sure appear as there was a cd on the unit, still I try to run it and NOTHING happen, then i try by the desktop icon and then a message appear : you have a wrong cd , please insert the sims 2 appartment life original cd.....SOME HELP?
ANYONE WHO KNOWS WHAT MISTAKE I AM DOING??? PLEASEEEEE ! :(

now i try to launch the game by the crack file on the tsbin, but i get a failure to enumerate any directx9 compatible graphic adapters in this system.

Plz help I downloaded this and installed it but when I get in the neighbourhood view it is blinking purple. Can someone plz tell me what is going on. If I delete it and play with the expansion packs i orginaly had it does not blink.

In response to kteddycharms, mine used to do that, but it was because my video card couldn't keep up with the game. I had to update my card and then it stopped.

I can't get it to work. I unrar the file, then I get 20 new rar files, and when I unrar them they say "insert the next volume". What do they mean? After that it says that the file is corrupt. Plz help me someone.

Annie, I have no idea why there are so many identical rars on this download, but I got it to work:
Pick ONE of them and unrar, you will have an iso, burn it, use one of the codes in the above posts.
Explore the disk you burned and you'll find a Crack folder: copy the crack and overwrite the file of the same name in the AL directory, and you should be good to go.
Another note, if you install the patch for AL (there's a second one up on the site as of 10/22) you will have to put the crack back. The patch changes that file and you'll get the message to put in the original disk.

Hey I downloaded this a while back and to free up some space deleted the torrent. I forgot I needed the crack when I installed the patch; does anyone know where I can download just the no CD crack from without the game? Thanks.

By the way, I don't recommend the patch, it created crashing issues with that error code: Exception code: 0xC0000005
I uninstalled AL, reinstalled it without the patch, and all is well.

Acidfairy, the crack is on your disk, Explore it and you'll see a Crack folder.
