Try burning at 4x speed with the correct layer break. What media are you using? TDK and Memorex worked better for me. On a wierd day I did get original Xbox backups to work on a Fugifilm dual layer dvd. Hope it helps

theres no firm ware update and no matter wat it crashes at 50% i did every thing u said im just gonna buy a new drive
I burned it and it says Unknown disc in my Xbox. I flashed the drive too and burned at 2.4x speed. I'm gonna try again but if this doesn't work I'm gonna be pissed these disc cost $2 a piece :(

and then EVEN if it's new go in imgburn and update firmware (also get latest drivers from manufacturer's website if there's a more recent pack)
then make sure layerbreak is set at 1913760 in imgburn (write options) then burn at 2.4x
if that doesn't work then it's probably a stupid detail we don't know of that's failing the burn, so try all of the above and let me know and i'll try to help you further if it really doesn't work

c409: You have to modify your 360 to be able to run burned games. To do that you need to do what is called "flashing" your DVD drive. What that does is overwrite the original firmware with a hacked version, making your 360 capable of reading a burned disc.
You have to have some technical know-how to do this though. It will require you to open your 360, potentially voiding the warranty, as well as hooking your 360 up to your PC. Depending on your DVD drive you will also need certain parts to do the flash.

Hi. I have memorex DVD+R DL and i burned this game 3 times already. At random times I get a unreadable disc error. I use CLONECD and it has worked with over 15 games before. Please help.

First let me say that I burned 2 DVD+DL and only the intro played, menus came up and then the game stopped in the middle of loading the game. I?ve been burning games for quite some time. There?s something wrong with this torrent..

1. First to the up-loader the .dvd file contains the name of the .iso file to be burned and it must be the same name as the actual .iso file in the same directory as the .dvd file.
2. In order to check to see if the names match, which they didn't in this case, open the .dvd file in a text editor such as notepad and you should see the words "LayerBreak=1913760" at the top left and right under it should be the name of the .iso file in the same folder.
3. If the names do not match, you must change it to match the name of the actual .iso file. Save the .dvd file and load with Clone CD.
4. I completed this same task as I have done in the past. The burn completed successfully and the game appears to work for a sec and then stops loading.
5. As for image-burn, it does not rely on the .dvd file or any information contained within. It just wants the name of the .iso file and the layerbreak information, and then it will burn the disc.
I've wasted 2 to many on this torrent to try again. I will get another from another source, but I wrote this for those of you who are just getting started. Maybe you'll have better results than I.

i dunno what you're talking about, i'm already 60 hours in the game
just burn with clean software/hardware, by that I mean freshly rebooted PC and burn at slowest (2.4x for most DL dvds)

Ok first off webchellacity2 you are the best. This was my first 360 game it worked first time on Memorex and plays just fine. To all the haters on this torrent how about you go fuck off this was my first ever 360 burn and it worked just fine:) Much love to webchellacity2
