Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 (DVD9 for XBOX converted to XBOX 360 image) - NTSC
only for xbox 360. don't think original XBOX will read DVD9.
wow if this is true. Wonder if I should get this or Battle Fantasia that is coming out in September....well, I wanted to play this recently (even hooked up my Dreamcast to play it but it didn't work anymore) so I might as well give it a shot (it IS only 161MB.).
Can anyone confirm that this is not a virus or something?

i scanned with AVAST it is clean. Let me know if you get it to work i burned it, but i don't have a Hard Drive on my 360 so it wouldnt play.....
i have never bin able to play xbox1 games on my flashed 360. stick with 360 games
you should be able to play them.... i heard you have to burn them to Dual Layer discs
Yeah, you have to burn it on a dual layer disc. You also need to install the Xbox compatibility update either via Live (you should be prompted to do it automatically) or you can get it here and burn it on a disc: -

This game is region locked too, for anyone wondering.

Well obviously, I won't be going online with my modded xbox 360 lol (and I still have full warranty...don't ask, long story) so I guess I can go and but I guess I can go and download the BC for this game...though I heard that this game has trouble with the BC (messed up characters and what not). I didn't know this thing that was updated was for BC games. Well, whatever. I'll just use up one of my scratched up DVD DL discs that I have (3 scratched when they fell).
Thanks for the info guys.

Hmmm...can't extract the game with the .dvd file for some reason. This is the first time this is happening to me. Anyone know what's up?
you cant extrat the .rar files? maybe try selecting "keep broken files" option when you try extracting it.....
Meh...got it. This little, tiny 131 MB file extracts to a 7.6 GB file...and I didn't have space (plus, it "froze" at 1% and 2 seconds...but then updated itself at 5:12 minutes).
Got it to work. Burned it on a dvd dl disc, then updated my console with the Backward Compatibility Disc you burn from xbox.com.
But just like I had heard, the characters are all messed up. And the game slows down just a tidbit every once in a while. Still, good enough to play every once in a while. Though sucks that a lot of characters are "locked" compared to the Dreamcast version (I don't remember anyone locked).
Well, enjoy guys.

Depends on the type of "lock" you mean. In the Dreamcast version you have to get points to use in the shop for unlocking more characters, uniform changes and stages. If that's the same kind of lock then yeah that's normal, just play through story mode and get points for use in the shop
just borrowed my friends HDD and yes the game IS working after the Backwards Compatibility upgrade. However the characters seem to be pixelated or glitchy as Jimm stated before. not sure why this is, hopefully it will be resolved with future BC updates.... i wont hold my breath.
I burned this and my 360 is reading it as "Mixed Media Disc". I've burned a ton of 360 copies before (as well as xbox originals converted to 360 discs) and never had this problem.
I used a Verbatim DVD+R DL, with ImgBurn. Any ideas? Thanks

the .dvd file is specifying a layer break of 1913776 which is slightly different than regular 360 games. Use this LB instead. Make sure you are using imgBurn and selecting the .dvd file . . . .
Yes, for some reason, I went back and tried it with the DVD file - I usually just burn this ISO with ImgBurn because I set my DL layer breaks for 360 games.
Thanks for the reply. How odd, huh?
