Req: Itunes 7.7
Firmware 2.0
Jailbroken ipod/iphone (see bottom for details)
An SSH program such as CuteFTP or putty (google them)
SSH downloaded through Cydia
Steps: 1) SSH into your device and navigate to /System/Library/PrivateFrameWorks/MobileInstallation.framework
2) Find the file MobileFramework and rename it to MobileFramework.bak
3) Copy over the MobileFramework from this folder into the same folder on your device
4) change the permissions on the new file to 775 NOT 755 755 = BAD
5) REBOOT your device
PHEW HARD PART IS OVER!
6) double click on the file that contains the app you want and itunes should pop open
7) plug in your device and BAM the app should start loading on
8) Enjoy your new app!!
JAILBREAK:
In order to jailbreak your device you need a copy of winpwn or pwnage (google) and a copy of the 2.0 Firmware.
Follow the instructions given to you and in no time you'll have your own jailbroken 2.0 iphone/ipod touch!!

Why not in .app format like the other iPhone downloads? Then one doesn't have to mess around with MobileFramework.

it is great to have all these run through the applications in tunes.. makes it much easier to go through and choose which ones you want to use. it's nice to use ssh to change a file once and then just use itunes every time rather that having to ssh to add and remove each program.
Had a little problem with holdem and brain challenge not wanting to sync, but deleting and readding them seemed to do the trick. thanks for the great upload!!

This method doesn't work. Apps won't even run. Just come up "This app unable to run" or something like that.
Okay, got it to work! U need an official app downloaded onto the iphod. Without an official app, it won't run the cracked ones. I downloaded the app through wireless with the ipod appstore and not itunes.

I think there's a mistake in the instructions. I think the file is called 'MobileInstallation', not 'MobileFramework', and it's in the 'MobileInstallation.framework' directory. Is that right?

I'm a little confused. You say to find mobileframework and rename it to a .bak file but I dont understand number 3. You want us to copy the mobileframework file from this folder to where?
question - if you install a cracked app like this or in any other way, will you still be notified by iTunes of updates to the app?
fog you must rename mobileinstallation and put the "mobileinstallation" of the torrent in the same folder.

After I have done part 4, and rebooted my phone, it won't start up again, and i have to restore in itunes... What am I doing wrong?
I installed this and tried enigmo.. worked fine.. then i tried to install some other games.. and it didnt work :( when i try to start th phone it get stuck with the apple icon on the screen and its vibrating :((

the phone wont start but it shows up in itunes anyway :S and when i SSH to the device and erase the mobileinstallation file back to normal again the phone starts :S

if you have jailbroken iphone you can get all appstore from (appulo.us)you don't need computer, the only you need to do is go to cydia and add the sources(cydia.hackulo.us)after that search for (installous) (appshare) install them when you finish restar your iphone/ipod and go to (appshare)search for appulo.us and download any ipa games and enjoy.
