Make sure the game doesn't have an autoupdate, if your system is pal and the update is for a ntsc system, it could brick your wii. For instance, if you try to play paper mario US or JAP and that your system is an older version than 2.2, it will most probably brick it. Check the web for compatibility lists!

I have a PAL Console w/ DMS Chip and the firmware on my modchip does not include region parsing code..
Can I still run it after I apply the NTSC->PAL Patch with the Syndicate RegionFrii patcher ?

the game will load on an NTSC Wii. but when i try to play the game the controller movements aren't working. i can press A, B, etc, but the movements of the controller are not responding. Anyone else getting the same problem?

hi if some1 have wikey and have problems to play other region games,
you can visit wikeys homesite and then click on resoures and there you can klick on your region setup and then unpack the file and then burn it.
that shuld work it did for me.
