TOMTOM NAVIGATOR 5.000 (4890) with working POI for PocketPC. Great Britain Plus Map v571 with Safety Camera Database v3.064 Important! - Before you install. Be sure to copy the 'TomTom' folder which has the 'CurrentMap.dat' file to the PocketPC's 'My Documents' folder first. This can be found in the 'CRACK' folder in this archive. Now you can begin the installation of TomTom Navigator 5. Copy the contents of the 'TTN5' folder to the PocketPC's SD card. Insert the SD card into the PocketPC. It will begin to install. And that's pretty much it!!! Enjoy!
Do these maps on thepiratebay, such as this one work for the Go 300 and 500's?

If you have any problems with the POI for any other country, you should be able to use this version of TTN5. Instead of copying the Great Britain map to your SD card, simply copy your country instead.

You shouldn't need to edit the 'CurrentMap.dat' file. Just make sure the 'TomTom' folder with this file are copied to your PDA's 'My Documents' folder, not on your SD card otherwise the program freezes when you select your voice settings.

I have problem to get it to work, have a Qtek 9090. After insert the SD card it installs and then start with the setup, language | right/lefthand | miles/km | male/female voice and then it stops and tell me that no maps were found. The maps are there and I also have put the crack on place and edit the “currentMap.dat “. Can someone help me?

I'm not sure. It works perfectly fine on my HP iPAQ rz1710. Maybe that you have an earlier version installed. If so, un-install it first and try again. Sorry I can't be more helpful.
Hi Culater! I think I know what's wrong! When I installed, I ran into the same problem because I had copied the file 'CurrentMap.dat' into the MyDocuments folder instead of copying the 'TomTom' folder into 'MyDocuments'. Also make sure to copy the contents of the TTN5 folder onto your SD card, not the folder!

I had a problem where it froze after the voice selection screen. I figured out the problem. You have to copy the tomtom folder from the crack folder to my documents. Fine, but another important thing is to copy the content of the ttn5 folder to your sd card. Not the ttn5 folder itself. Otherwise it won't start with the automatic installation. When you've done this everything should be humpti dumpti. Brilliant torrent! Cheers dvdgenie!

Re: the above question. the reason I ask is that I downloaded it and followed the above instructions. When I put the card in, the tomtom screen shows briefly then disappears. It doesn't appear to install. I'm running a TMobile MDA Vario - basically the same as an 02 XDA.

ononon: In regards to your situation, may I ask what kind of device that you have installed your tomtom on?
If it is a XDA O2 mini, you can try the following:
Click Start >> Setting >> System >> Bluetooth Setting and enable the serial port for the following COM PORT: COM4 and COM5
Try that and let me know if that was the case.

It's a new T-Mobile MDA Vario. Made by the same firm that does XDA's for O2. It's running Windows mobile 5.
The menue system is different from yr description of vda's. There is no option in bluetooth settings to enable new serial ports. No clues in the mda manual either.

Many thanks for the upload. Have followed the instructions and this works on my IMate JaMin running WM5 - have not checked out a GPS reciever yet - will recomment when I have it working
